Description
* We have received reports that Crude oil tanker NISSOS RHENIA (IMO: 9845685) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 51 nautical miles off Viana do Castelo, Portugal on 28 October 2024.
* It is reported that the vessel has been taken under tow by tug towards the Portuguese coast, for inspection, and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
